A Message from Our Principal

Best High Schools Silver 2013 Award

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to the 2014-2015 school year. As I am beginning my 4th year as principal of Rio Rico High School, I am always proud to be part of such a wonderful community with amazing students. This year, we are trying to increase our parent involvement at the high school level. Many times, parents will volunteer at the younger grades, but there are also many activities that go on at the high school. We have various events such as: ticket takers at sporting events, making copies, helping with additional duty during the school day and the list goes on. If you are interested in helping us, please call our parent liaison at (520) 375-8717.

I also would like to mention that we need to hear your voice in making decisions at the high school. Your feedback is important and Site Council is the place. Please join us the first Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in the library. We will hold our first meeting on September 3. Your input is vital.

Thank you to all of you who are making a difference in the lives of your children. At Rio Rico, I firmly believe it is a team effort between home and school to help students be successful. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please don’t hesitate to call me at (520) 375-8700 or e-mail me. I am looking forward to another wonderful year.

Go Hawks!
